Course Sequencing

The semester before capstone registration, in the fall, you complete the four-credit, graded (B- or higher), precapstone course: BIOT E-597 Business Ideas and Entrepreneurial Innovation, where you'll learn the building blocks of a successful business plan and create the draft of the business plan that you'll work on in the capstone.

By December 1, you must submit the draft business plan that you've developed in BIOT E-597 to Dr. Denkin for review to ensure that the plan meets the requirements for the capstone in the spring.

You register for the capstone, BIOT 599 Biotechnology Capstone in the spring term as your final, one-and-only course. Due to the heavy demands of the capstone it is considered a full-time course and you cannot be registered in any other courses.  Moreover, all your other degree requirements must be fulfilled in order to draw upon your entire ALM training to produce a final project worthy of a Harvard degree.
